Camaro Rs vs Infiniti G37 coupe 2011?

I'm 17 years old. I'm looking forward to buy me a new car. I have two options but the problem is which one to pick. I'm confused because I've always wish to have american car,but what ppl say it doesn't stay with you for long period.So, I want to make sure bout it.So,Dad and friends told me infinti G37.But still I'm confused which car should i buy.And I would really love to know something bout the Camaro Rs if it has any issues or problems.
