What should I pack for an overnight camping trip.?

Some of my buds and I are going to go on an overnight trip. We were going to hit up the woods. I was thinking about packing a machete, a pocket knife, a flint, and a small cooking pot. It sounds stupid I know, but I dont care. Carpe Diem ya know. How does that sound? We wanna rough it.
